2021 STATE CHAMPS!

WE WON!

Both the Composite and School Teams are State Champions.

  • The Composite team is #1 in Division II

  • The School team is #1 in Division I

Here are some photos of the Awards ceremony at Raystown Lake, our Firetruck parade as celebrated in the community, and some comments about how amazing our year turned out…and why

Some random thoughts in no particular order:

  • We said goodby to both Amanda Beach (Stanton) and Katie Corbiell in 2021. Neither can be replaced. Both are amazing women, and the team will not be the same without them. Katie is off to college. Amanda is in Colorado with all the cool kids riding big mountains and boarding in deep pow! We wish them both all the best, and hope they will come visit us often.

  • The Girls ROC program continues to well…ROC! What Allison started a few years back, Connie Scheunemann, Julie Book and the other woman have kept alive and well. So much so that they have gotten regional and state recognition, as well as some attention from NICA national! Amazing ladies helping to get more kids on bikes and when that happens, it also means more Women on bikes!

  • Obviously, the kids were amazing. So many great efforts. Too many to mention here. WE ARE A TEAM, and as such, I want to keep the kudos as a team effort. The record books exist if anyone wants to see podiums, and times and the associated spoils of competition. However, I am most excited by our Team spirit and the feeling of FAMILY that exists on this Team. So many great kids, parents and coaches. It might be cliche´, but this really has been my honor to be associated with such a fine group of people.
