We can't do it without you.
There is no "One Size Fits All" way to sponsor the team.
Hammers Mountain biking is an interscholastic school sport, that we run through the Danville Area School District, but we aren not an "official" school sport...yet.
As such, we get all the support the school can offer, (which is significant, and we are thankful) but that doesn't come close to covering the costs of running a mountain bike team.
Tents, food, lodging, bike repairs, insurance, registration, coach training, and many other costs make the realization of running a mountain bike team, a financial and logistical challenge.
We DO NOT want costs to be a limiting factor for any of the kids. In our inaugural season, coaches and parents did all we could to give scholarships to any team members who needed help in order to participate. We hope this will be a defining characteristic of the team...but that will honestly depend on our success in finding people and organizations to support the effort.
