Our presence has been requested again for the Danville Bike Rodeo.
We go to keep kids safe.
We go to get together.
We go because we can inspire a kid to get riding now…and maybe be on the team later.
You guys will look like Red Bull rock stars to these kids, as you show them how to ride.
We might play a few riding games, but this isn’t heavy lifting.
Just come with your bike and some article of team identification (jersey would be best) and we will have some fun with kids riding bikes.
Below is our invitation to attend from SafeKids PA.
Hi Chief Gill,
On behalf of SafeKids PA Susquehanna Valley Partners, we were wondering if your team would be willing to join us again this year to hold a Bike to School event with an evening Bike rodeo at Danville Middle School? Bike to School Day is Wednesday, May 8th and we can hold the Rodeo that evening from 6-8 pm or another day that week if it would work better for your team. The entire week is being celebrated as Safe Kids week so we have flexibility. We enjoyed watching your bike riding skills so much last year that we are anxious for a repeat performance in 2019! We hope that you and your colleagues can join us! Please let me know if you have any questions as well.
Thank you,
Judy
