CALLING ALL HAMMERS COACHES!

What happens March 23rd - 25th weekend sets the tone for the entire year.

NICA has guidelines for Team-to-Coach ratios.  The thinking is: 1 Coach for every 4 riders is ideal.  Last season, we accomplished that goal, and I think the results speak for themselves (Can you say, "Best new team in the league 2017!")

Will we be able to maintain that momentum and move the team forward from our already lofty position? That is up to you, parents.

I'm hoping we have at least 8 NICA trained (with clearances) Coaches this year.  If we have more...even better! That would allow us a team of around 30 - 35 riders.  A Hammers team of that size, would be a force to be reckoned with!

Everything you need to know about the Summit is on that registration page, but here are the basics:

Cost: $135.


Books: We have the books, and we can share them, but they are worth buying.


Ride/Fun: bring your bikes. The group ride is fun.

Prerequisites: Yes, you need to so some work before going.


Accommodations: Apparently, most are staying in the host hotel.  Rooms are available for a discounted rate of $109/night (single) or $119/night (double) if booked by 3/14. Please mention “mountain bike leaders summit” when making your reservation to get the discounted rate.
